Crispy Tacodilla

This is a fun way of making tacos that reminds me of a quesadilla and includes my family's favorite snack food (Nacho Bugles).


  • 6 large burritos
  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • ½ small onion chopped
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ c. sour cream
  • 1 can refried beans heated
  • Nacho Bugle Chips or Dorito-style chips slightly crushed
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese


  • Cook meat according to taco seasoning packet directions. After prepared, add 4 oz. cream cheese and stir until combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Cut the burrito halfway down from the edge to the center. Make four equal sections of the burrito in your mind taking up ¼ for each ingredient. Place meat mixture, refried beans, sour cream, and crumbled Bugles or Doritos in each quadrant. Sprinkle shredded cheese lightly over each section. Carefully fold each section over the other to create a pie piece shape. Place in heated skilled sprayed with cooking spray and lightly brown each side.
  • Get creative! Whatever you like to put in a taco can take up a section of the circle. The unique part to this dish is the way everything is layered into one triangle.
