Appetizers/Drinks Sides




I prefer this hummus over store-bought. It's perfect for a light snack with some carrots and celery, or use it as a spread to jazz up a tortilla wrap. Yeah I'm about 100 years old for using the words "jazz it up."


  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ c. lemon juice
  • ½ c. water
  • 14 oz. can chick peas rinsed and drained
  • ½ c. tahini
  • 1 tsp. sea salt


  • Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping sides occasionally.

Optional additions

  • Roasted red peppers, small red chili peppers, cumin, and/or pinch of cayenne pepper
