Sweet and Sour Mix

Don't buy this at the store ever again! It's even better than any powder or premade mix and so refreshing. It's best with fresh squeezed juice, but bottled works just fine, too. I like to mix it with some amaretto and Sprite for my favorite cocktail.


  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. lime juice


  • Make a simple syrup by combining water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Once the sugar water cools down, add lime and lemon juices. Mix well. Store in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
