Guacamole

Guacamole

Like most things, you can't beat homemade over store bought guacamole. We used to think even the powder with mashed avocados was considered fresh. Believe me, start from scratch. No packet needed.

Ingredients

  • 4 avocados smashed
  • 1 small tomato seeded, finely diced
  • ½ small onion grated or finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lime, squeezed for juice approx. 2 tbsp
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped, (also optional if it prefer without)
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper or dash of hot sauce

Instructions

  • Mash avocado, lime juice and seasoned salt with a potato masher or fork until desired consistency. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
