Gram's Stuffing

I make this for every holiday. It's a simple recipe, but one of my favorite sides. It always goes first when we have holiday leftovers.


  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • c. unsalted butter
  • ½ loaf sliced white bread
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • ½ tsp poultry seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper


  • Sauté celery and onions in butter until soft. Meanwhile, dry bread in the oven, then chop into cubes. Place bread in baking dish. Pour butter mixture over bread. Season with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
