Hummus
I prefer this hummus over store-bought. It's perfect for a light snack with some carrots and celery, or use it as a spread to jazz up a tortilla wrap. Yeah I'm about 100 years old for using the words "jazz it up."
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- ¼ c. lemon juice
- ½ c. water
- 14 oz. can chick peas rinsed and drained
- ½ c. tahini
- 1 tsp. sea salt
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping sides occasionally.
Optional additions
- Roasted red peppers, small red chili peppers, cumin, and/or pinch of cayenne pepper
